Appointments
Appointments are reserved time slots specifically for you. You must arrive at appointments on time. Being late may result in your appointment being canceled or shortened
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled 24 hours in advance, or you will be charged the full appointment fee
It is your responsibility as a patient to keep your follow-up appointments scheduled
You will receive a text or phone reminder of your appointments 48 hours in advance.
Virtual appointments are available at the discretion of your provider
Financial Policies
Payment is due when services are rendered
If a balance is accrued on your account, your appointments are subject to cancellation until resolved
If you are uninsured or have an out-of-network policy, full payment is due before your appointment time
Prescription Refills
You may request a refill through our prescription line which can be reached at 843-215-2400 opt. 2
Prescription refills are processed within 48 hours
To receive a refill, you must:
Have your next follow-up appointment scheduled
Have a $0 balance
Be due for the medication
Do not leave more than one message, as this may delay the processing of your refill
Check with your pharmacy before placing your refill request, as our providers write enough medication until your next appointment.
You will only receive a call back regarding your refill if it cannot be filled. If you do not hear from us, your refill will arrive at your pharmacy within 48 hours
Medication changes must be discussed during appointments. If you are having issues with your medication, give us a call to schedule an appointment.
Prior Authorizations
Insurance companies require prior authorizations for many medications. We charge a $20 fee for prior authorizations at the responsibility of the patient.
Prior authorizations take up to 72 hours to receive a determination, if an appeal is needed, these take up to 30 days.
If your prescription is delayed due to prior authorization, let us know as soon as possible.
In-Office Conduct
Shouting, swearing, or violence will not be tolerated in any circumstances.
Patients who mistreat office staff or other patients will be asked to leave and could be terminated from our practice.
